Geocaching is a modern day treasure hunt for all ages that over the past few years has become a must find. Very similar to scavenger hunting, you search and hunt for a “cache box” that can be in the form of many different types of items or boxes and can contain anything from a travel bug to something as simple as a code to get the grand prize!
The Jackson Historic Geotrail consists of 11 caches around the county that go hand in hand with the Spanish Heritage Trail. Search and enjoy the unique Spanish colonial history of Jackson County as you drive the 150-mile round trip through out the county.
To complete the trail and obtain your path tags, download your Jackson Historic Geotrail geocaching form.
