Known for its unique name, Two Egg is one of Florida’s most quaint communities. The name originated during the hard times of the Great Depression when people from the surrounding farms traded goods such as eggs and other things for what they needed from the Bevis Store. For many years Two Egg was home to two competing general stores, but both closed long ago and only one still stands today.
